A few weeks ago I posted the basics of each Chakra, which you can link to from yesterday’s blog about the Ninth Chakra.
This week I will be talking about some of the correspondences that go with each Chakra, allowing us to work with and understand them a little deeper. Friday will be a meditation that builds off the previous Chakra exercise, allowing you to open and strengthen them even further!
Correspondences to the Lower Chakras
Today will be about the Lower Chakras, tomorrow about the Upper Chakras
As I stated in the last post about the Root Chakra it is our source of grounding, and very important for anyone who does Healing or Psychic work. Yesterday you learned that the Earth Star Chakra can help you take that even deeper!
The Root Chakra is also about Manifestation, our relationship with our Physical Realm, as opposed to Vasundahara giving us a relationship to the Realm below us.
This Chakra is watched over by the Goddesses Pele and Kali.
Pele and Kali are the two primary Goddesses of Muladhara. They are both Fire Goddess and the rule over Manifestation, Transformation and the power to Create.
Pele hails from the Hawaiian Pantheon and is the keeper of the Cauldron of Lava, from which the Hawaiian Islands were born.
Kali is the Hindu Goddess of Death and Transformation.
Since both Goddess rule over the Earth it makes sense that they rule over the Root Chakra, and both push you to treat yourself (and others) with the deepest level of Respect.
They both teach us the lesson of learning what we need to let go of in order to grow and transform!
