We are Kendall Strong

Kendall Lord & her Story of Strength

Kendall is a three year old child from Southington, CT in the United States.

Recently Kendall was diagnosed with 4th stage kidney cancer, and began receiving treatments at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford, CT.

This morning the Volunteer Fire Departments of Southington banded together, and at Company 2 (in Plantsville) they had a pancake breakfast fundraising benefit.

Today’s Fundraiser

With over 100 awesome raffle prizes (from a new grill to gift certificates for local businesses to baskets full of great items) donated by the community it was a heartwarming sight this morning.

Several hundred families showed up today to support Kendall and her family, and I could not be more proud of our community today, Southington is #KendallStrong!

Along with the raffle and breakfast they were selling shirts, so both myself & my husband bought one of those as well!

It was wonderful to be part of such a wonderful event, and see my community in full swing to support this family in such a dark time.

Please, pray for Kendall and her family – for strength, comfort, healing, peace and happiness to carry them through this!

Remember them all in your thoughts and works of healing.

For those able & willing to do so, here is the link to make donations

This money helps pay medical bills, travel expenses & anything not covered by insurance, as well as to help offset lost wages from time her parents have to take off work to bring Kendall to appointments.

Let’s all be #KendallStrong together!
