This week we have talked a lot about Astrology and the numerous Astrological occurrences that are happening right now, so check those out if you haven’t because a lot is going on!

We have the third super moon coming up on March, on the Vernal Equinox, which I will be posting about as it comes closer.

Tonight is just going to be brief run down on the basics of the Zodiac Signs.

I am only focusing on the basic & positive aspects of the signs in this post, if anyone in interested in the more negative characteristic traits on the zodiac I can post that later.

Few Brief Notes Before We Begin

Notice that even though the Gregorian Calendar we use to tell time starts in January, the Zodiac Calendar starts late March with Aries.

Signs can be Cardinal, Mutable, or Fixed.

Cardinal Signs

These signs kick off each season (Aries – Spring, Cancer – Summer, Libra – Fall, Capricorn – Winter) and are the Leaders & “idea setters”.

Cardinal Signs like to be first, prize originality and are trendsetters – the ones you use to kick off a party and initiate great plans.

Fixed Signs

These Signs fall in the middle of each season (Taurus – Spring, Leo – Summer, Scorpio – Fall, Aquarius – Winter) and are the “Stabilizers” who set solid foundations.

Fixed Signs take the creative spark from the Cardinal Signs and craft it into something real & then run the distance to the goal line.

Mutable Signs

These Signs end each season (Gemini – Spring, Virgo – Summer, Sagittarius – Fall, Pisces – Winter) and are the ones who are best at adaptation, as they come at the changing of the seasons.

Mutable Signs can fit into almost any situation and the perfect the plans being carried out by the Fixed Signs.

Aries

March 21 – April 20

Aries is the first sign in the Zodiac, symbolized by the Ram and is the Cardinal Fire Sign.

Those born in Aries are independent and courageous, they enjoy leading others & bringing excitement into people’s lives.

Aries are enthusiastic and goal-oriented.

Taurus

April 21 – May 21

Taurus is the Second sign in the Zodiac, symbolized by the Bull and is a Fixed Earth Sign.

Individuals that are a Taurus are solid and fight for what they want, they are very easy going but can also be stubborn like a bull!

Taurus tend to procrastinate a lot, but are incredibly hard workers.

Gemini

May 22 – June 21

Gemini is the Third sign in the Zodiac, symbolized by The Twins it is the Mutable Air Sign.

Gemini’s have many sides to their personality and are known for their incredible energy, very talkative and definitely social butterflies.

A Gemini will always take their life in the direction that want to go!

Cancer

June 22 – July 22

Cancer is the Fourth sign in the Zodiac, symbolized by the Crab it is the Cardinal Water Sign.

This sign is marked by a bit of a paradox, they seek security but also deeply love adventure.

Cancers are not very predictable and like to keep others guessing.

Leo

July 23 – August 21

Leo is the Fifth sign in the Zodiac, symbolized by the Lion it is the Fixed Fire Sign.

People born in this sign have high self-esteem and are very devoted, they are also very kind and generous.

Leo’s can have a quick temper that stems from them being so passionate.

Virgo

August 22 – September 23

Virgo is the Sixth sign in the Zodiac, symbolized by a Woman (the Virgin) it is the Mutable Earth Sign.

People that are Virgo’s tend to be very mind oriented, constantly analyzing and thinking, they will strive for excellence in everything they do.

Virgo like to making themselves, and those around the, better people.

Libra

September 24 – October 23

Libra is the Seventh sign in the Zodiac, symbolized the Scales it is the Cardinal Air Sign.

Someone who is a Libra is known for their very diplomatic nature, they get along well with everyone

Libra have very expensive taste, and know how to work hard to support it!

Scorpio

October 24 – November 22

Scorpio is the Eight sign in the Zodiac, symbolized by the Scorpion is the Fixed Water Sign.

If you’re born under this sign you are most likely very intense, you question everything, and work hard at making sense out of everything.

Scorpio treat others with kindness and loyalty.

Sagittarius

November 23 – December 22

Sagittarius is the Ninth sign in the Zodiac, symbolized by a Bow & Arrow it is the Mutable Fire Sign.

People who are Sagittarius have very vibrant personalities, and enjoy meeting new people, but struggle not to be reckless.

Sagittarius always have a positive outlook on life.

Capricorn

December 23 – January 20

Capricorn is the Tenth sign in the Zodiac, symbolized by the Goat, it is the Cardinal Earth Sign.

Marked by an ambitious nature, this sign is always doing what it takes to remain in control of life, not much can stop a Capricorn except themselves.

Capricorn have very active minds.

Aquarius

January 22 – February 19

Aquarius is the Eleventh sign in the Zodiac, symbolized by a Pouring Jug, it is the Fixed Air Sign.

No opportunity is wasted for people born in Aquarius, they constantly make the best of them and formulating new ideas.

Aquarians don’t care what other people think of them.

Pisces

February 20 – March 20

Pisces is the Twelfth sign in the Zodiac, symbolized by Two Fish it is the Mutable Water Sign.

Those who are Pisces are very sensitive and reserved, looking to escape reality when they can to be by themselves or with small trusted close circle.

Pisces are very good listeners and friends.
